The suspect, Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, 21, of the Denver suburb of Arvada, stormed a King Soopers outlet in Boulder. Armed with an AR-style semi-automaic rifle and a handgun, as well as a tactical west, he killed 10 people, including a police officer.
Victims are Eric Talley, 51, an 11-year veteran of the Boulder police force; Denny Stong, 20; Neven Stanisic, 23; Rikki Olds, 25; Tralona Bartkowiak, 49; Suzanne Fountain, 59; Teri Leiker, 51; Kevin Mahoney, 61; Lynn Murray, 62; and Jody Waters, 65.
Authorities refused to speculate on as to what might have caused the attack. There are however indications. Colorado is among more diverse states in the US, and has been the site of some of the most shocking episodes of gun violence in U.S. history. Ali Aliwi Alissa was highly politically opinionated, accusing Donald Trump of racism while praising the inclusiveness of the Democratic Party’s ticket. He also criticized Trump’s handling of immigration.
But apparently, inclusiveness does not extend to white people. All ten people killed in the shooting were white. While it might be an accident, it is difficult not to see the shooting as a consequence of two things: 1) diversity and 2) anti-white hatred advocated by the same people who promote diversity.
But the Left, as usual, refuses to see the reality. Instead of taking a good look at the actual causes of shooting, they are doubling down on the “assault weapons ban”, a measure which will leave the populace alike open and vulnerable to terrorists and government alike. These calls are not about safety. Criminals are always able to get weapons they want, and make ammunition they want – calls for ban on guns are about as logical as the calls to ban hollowpoint ammunition. Only thing which gun ban will achieve is that only criminals will have weapons. The root cause of violence are not guns, but the structure of the American society – specifically, its multicultural and cosmopolitan nature.
